Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect zero personal information. No accounts, no cookies, no third-party trackers. Your stats live in your browser only.
What we don't collect
- No name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier.
- No accounts — we don't have a signup system.
- No cookies — we use no first-party or third-party cookies.
- No tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no behavioral profiling.
- No advertising — currently none. If we ever add ads (Month 6+), we'll update this policy.
What lives in your browser
To make games playable across visits, we store the following in your browser's localStorage:
- Per-game stats (total plays, wins, current streak, max streak, win-distribution).
- Per-game skill score (0–100) and tier (Bronze through Master).
- Your settings (theme, sound on/off, haptic on/off, locked tier, etc.).
- In-progress game state (so you can resume mid-puzzle).
- An error log (last 50 errors, used by the "Report a bug" page — never auto-transmitted).
This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly export it via the QR-code backup feature in Settings.
What we collect at the server level
- Standard server access logs from our hosting provider (IONOS) and CDN (Cloudflare): IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp. Retained 30 days for security and abuse detection.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregate, cookie-free traffic counters. No personal info collected. Cloudflare's privacy notice.
That's everything. No third-party SDK, no Sentry, no DeepL, no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel.
Your rights
Because we collect no personal information, requests under GDPR / CCPA / LGPD / DPDPA / KVKK / etc. resolve trivially:
- Right to know: we hold no personal data about you.
- Right to access: nothing to access.
- Right to delete: nothing to delete (your localStorage data is yours — clear it via your browser).
- Right to portability: use the QR-code export in Settings to move your stats between devices.

Children
The site is general-audience and child-safe. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (COPPA in the US) or 16 (GDPR-K in EU). If we ever market specifically to kids, we will add explicit COPPA-compliant disclosures.
Changes to this policy
If we ever start collecting personal information (e.g., if we add optional accounts in v2), we will:
- Update this policy.
- Show a clear in-app notice before collecting anything.
- Make any new collection strictly opt-in.
