1. Acceptance

By using Word Online Games (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Word Online Games provides free-to-play word puzzle games via the website at wordonlinegames.com. There is no signup, no account, and no charge to play.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security or rate-limiting features.
• Use automated tools to scrape content at scale (single-puzzle solvers for personal use are fine).
• Embed our games on third-party sites EXCEPT via the official embed snippet on each game page.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our source content (game logic, dictionaries, puzzle archive) for commercial use.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. User content

The Service does not currently accept user-generated content. If we add comments, custom puzzles, or other UGC features in the future, we'll update these Terms with content rules.

5. Intellectual property

All site content (game logic, puzzles, layouts, design, code) is © Samit Shah / Word Online Games unless otherwise noted. Open-source dictionaries and code dependencies are governed by their original licenses (see our repository for attributions). Embed snippets on each game page may be used on third-party sites with attribution preserved.

6. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. Short version: we collect zero personal information.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free puzzles, or specific outcomes from playing. Word puzzles may contain occasional clue errors despite our best curation efforts.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Word Online Games and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
