How to play
- You see a rack of 7 tiles with their official Scrabble point values.
- Tap tiles in order to spell a word. Each letter can only be used as many times as it appears in the rack.
- Submit. Score = sum of letter values. Use ALL 7 tiles for the +50 BINGO bonus.
- 5 rounds per level. Win threshold rises with difficulty: 50% of optimal (easy), 70% (medium), 85% (hard), 95% (bonus — near-optimal play required).
Standard Scrabble values
1 pt: A · E · I · L · N · O · R · S · T · U
2 pt: D · G
3 pt: B · C · M · P
4 pt: F · H · V · W · Y
5 pt: K
8 pt: J · X
10 pt: Q · Z
Strategy tips
- Hunt for the BINGO. 50 bonus points dwarfs everything else. Common 7-letter rack words: RETAINS, TRAINER, STAINED, CASEMATE.
- Use Q only with U. Q on its own is a 10-point liability. Words like QUEEN, QUART, QUITE keep it useful.
- Save the S. Plurals of common words give an easy +1 — don't waste S on a 4-letter word when you could pluralize a 6.
- Check the optimal at the end. The result panel shows the highest-scoring word for each rack — a good way to learn rack patterns.
About this MVP
Phase 5 ships the rack-and-score loop without the full board. Phase 6 adds the 15×15 grid with premium-tile multipliers (DL, TL, DW, TW), a bot opponent, and asynchronous play via shareable URLs. The scoring engine here is the same one Phase 6 uses on the board — same TWL06 letter values, same BINGO bonus.
